Class A Transceiver
The KAT-100 provides advanced features and professional performance for SOLAS and sub-SOLAS class vessels, workboats and high-end yachts. The KAT-100 transmits and exchanges the full range of required dynamic information with AIS equipped vessels, including Ship's Position, Course Over Ground, Speed Over Ground, Heading, Navigation Status, and Rate of Turn.
It also exchanges important static vessel information such as MMSI Number, IMO Number, Vessel Name and Call Sign, Vessel Length and Beam, Type of Vessel, Location and more. The KAT-100 also sends and receives voyage related data such as Destination and ETA, Ship's Draft, Hazardous Cargo Type (if applicable), and more.
